The Japanese Lover by Isabel Allende

3.0

I really did enjoy this book. The nuances and how it went back and forth from memory to present life worked well. However, I could see the plot twists a mile away and when it all came together in a bright colored bow at the end - I wasn't satisfied because it was just too easy to see the end. That being said, I really did enjoy Allende's writing and will likely read more of her books.
