The Language of Secrets by Ausma Zehanat Khan

5.0

LoS totally convinced me that Ausma was meant to write- I went into this novel with zero expectations (but....some small secret hope that there would be Esa/Rachel chemistry) and while the terrorism plot line didn’t interest me as much as the last books take on the Bosnian genocide it was still such a great read. I really enjoyed the different perspectives and an inside look into Canadian-Muslim experiences, especially with out the hyper extreme lens of the typical Fox News rhetoric lol. Anyways- politics aside, this was a great read, definitely a page turner and a very thoughtfully written book!
