Girl Waits with Gun by Amy Stewart

The Cover of this book hooked me, love it. Girl Waits with Gun is a historical fiction novel set in the early 1900's based on the true story of Constance Kopp who was one of the first female deputy sheriffs in the US. The story begins with the three Kopp sisters heading from their farm into town and their buggy is broadsided by an automobile filled with obnoxious group of men. The story follows their attempts to get the driver to take financial responsiblity and pay for the repairs. There is a mystery thrown in that I figured out early in the book. This book should have been at least 100 pages shorter, there was a lot of repetition with same things happening over again. I did like Constance, our narrator and oldest sister. She was a facinating character. Overall, the book was good but not great and I was a little bored during parts.
