Wait by A.L. Jackson
5.0
If I could give Wait 6 Stars, I would. Heck, I'd give it 7.
This summer has been full of ah-maze-ing books. It seems that every book I've had the pleasure of reading lately has been above and beyond. Wait is no exception.
I've been drawn to this series from the very first word of ASitS. The. First. Word. Amy has this way of weaving her words together that captivates me. To say the least she creates magic with 26 letters.
Austin is beautifully broken. He's Baz’s brother and I've been waiting for his story since we were introduced to him. I knew he had a dark and troubled past and I couldn't “wait” to get under his skin. (It was worth it!)
Edie is broken too. She may be more broken than Austin. She's beautiful, shy, independent, strong, and hurt. It turns out that she's just what Austin needs and vice versa.
Without spoiling ANYTHING or saying how they meet or are connected, I'll just say this… Wait is more than worth the wait.
