Loved it! This book is the redemption book for anybody who got picked on and hated high school. Marley couldn't wait to leave her small town and move on with her life for bigger and better things. She had plans and she was going places. 20 years later with her life savings wiped out, jobless, homeless and single Marley finds herself moving back home and HATES IT.
This story takes you on a journey of redemption and what's great about it is that all the people that seemingly have their lives together and Marley looks up to all reveal their lives aren't everything it seems.
Jake Weston, uhhhh, is just perfect. He's a motivational speaking life coach wrapped in a bad boy look and he doesn't just save Marley. He pushes her to save herself. She also saves him a bit too. It's so much wrapped up in this story of change and redemption.

⭐ - 5. It's well written, it's funny. The characters are well developed and all loveable. Bonus points for 38 year old main characters.
