I wanted to love this book because of the amazing cover and having the main character be middle aged, divorced, sarcastic, mysterious and add a little romantic options in the mix…hello I was SOLD!
I thought I would connect with Gina the protagonist. However, I felt the writing was a bit disjointed and it was like reading an outline of a book, and lacked that extra depth of thought & emotion for it to be complete.
It does have a cliffhanger and I unfortunately will be passing on the series.
