Risked it despite the lack of trigger tags on storygraph as I'm a CNC, chase scene dark romance girlie. I figured I'd give it a shot and if I hit one of my icks I'd be able to tag it for others.... I hit my #1 ick. Doesn't seem fair to rate it when the icks are my own, but it immediately ruins a book for me when
there's a surprise pregnancy, especially for a very short term, barely established relationship, and doubly so when she's nauseous but clueless about it.
I understand why the author didn't trigger tag it and
incest, especially incestuous sexual assault
as they're surprise twists in the book, but at least they're on storygraph now.
