If you enjoy heavily tatted, morally ambiguous men with dark pasts who fuck like animals and kill people for a living...

Buuuuut who also keep their promises to 7 year old little girls to go to a tea party...

You should maybe consider picking this one up. Fenix steals the show here, usually it's all about the woman--but honestly in this book. It's all about him, his horrific past, his trauma, his obsession, his heart.

Don't get me wrong, this one's not perfect. The insta-love (at least on Becca's part) is a little bananas. I mean, unless you don't mind the "it just felt right" kismet sort of vibes.

Becca's fine as a character--I had no issues with her. But this is Fenix's book. I'm glad we got Becca's perspective, but I lived for the male POV. It's rare that a man wraps my heart around his proverbial little finger the way Nix did.

Maybe I enjoyed this book because I had somewhat low expectations coming in--maybe it's just that this book hit the spot for the mood I'm in at the momet... I'm not sure what it was, but I thoroughly fucking enjoyed this.
