Murder mystery meets romance in Victorian San Francisco? Sure, sign me up!
Annie Fuller, 26, is already a widow. After a terrible marriage that ended in bankruptcy, she lives quite happily as the owner of a little boarding house. As a side hustle she pretends to be a clairvoyant to give financial advice. When one of her clients turns up dead, missing assets and stocks, she decides to get involved. Drama ensues.
A cozy little mystery that I thoroughly enjoyed. I did have it narrowed down to two people pretty early on but I was still invested. The love story isn't over-the-top, love at first sight. Annie and Nate had cute interactions. Id likely read it again, and I'd love to read the others.
