Personally appreciate the way the pregnancy was included but wasn’t the plot of the book. I like how acofas ended with feyre and Rhys trying, and that’s was that, their happy ending. If the next book was a pregnancy trope, I wouldn’t of enjoyed it. I was happy to move on from them to nesta and cassian. I liked the contrast in their relationship compared to Rhys and feyre. Rhys and feyre was a slow burn that turned into something beautiful and strong and powerful. But with nes and cas, it’s was complicated, and messy, and still didn’t quite reach that solid bond like Rhys and fey (yet). But I liked that. I liked that it was different. How it focused on nestas journey. And in my opinion it was done well. People say they didn’t like nesta, but she was portrayed in a way to make her unlikeable on purpose. So we could see her character development. And I loved it. Her self acceptance. Facing her fears. Opening up and allowing herself to be vulnerable. What’s with her reading smut tho lmao? Like was the author trying to make the reader relate to her (because I worked). The amount of smut in this shii. Wasn’t expecting it but wasn’t complaining. Also not complaining about cassian not saying “I love you” back. Like do people actually have an issue with that? Cassian has loved her for a very long time, it’s obvious. It was more about nesta allowing herself to love him back. Like that’s what it’s always been about. Random note, former and latter was a phrase used way to much and it was irritating.
