Did not finish book. Stopped at 16%.

For some reason the first chapter hooked me. From chapter two onwards, however, my interest in this book completely vanished. On the one hand I think I should finish this, since it's a Dutch classic. On the other hand I feel that if I were to do that, a descent into the dark depths of a reading slump would be inevitable—so a DNF it is.
