Deal With the Devil by Lark Taylor

5.0

Mori is the grumpy Demon son of Lucifer and really wants to find his fated mate. Even though he knows first hand the pain of losing a loved one he still holds out for his mate. River, who’s pretending to be human, is bratty and full of sass when not trying to conceal who and what he is.

Circumstances have these two working together trying to locate Rivers missing brother and the sparks begin to fly. There’s undeniable chemistry between them and River certainly keeps Mori on his toes and when the spark ignites the heat level gets set to high. They are both feisty and passionate and enjoy a dash of rope play.

Naturally a relationship originally based on deceit doesn’t go smoothly. Not only are these two wonderful men battling each other but also other supernaturals who have a world changing agenda.
After an epic face off with the villains of the piece, River and Mori get some time to enjoy their hard earned HEA.

This is a very engaging and enjoyable read with some action to go with the romance as well as cheesy dad jokes, some feels and the always interfering brothers and their mates. This shouldn’t be read as a standalone as the overall story arc continues. We also get a glimpse of what’s coming Dagon’s way in the next instalment.
