I loved the Idea and perspectives of different domestic animals in an apocalyptic world. What I didn’t like in this book was the style of writing. I understand that the entire setting is in Seattle, but the wording could’ve been much better. There’s use of so many new words, Idioms and phrases that are very new and I constantly had to google what that meant. I would’ve loved if Author used a little but simpler language rather than trying to sound elegant when it’s unnecessary in the context of the scene.
