The storyline packed in twists and turns alongside making me feel every emotion. I felt tense through quite a large portion of the book and at times, I directed that mistrust and suspense at the wrong characters. I think that’s one reason I loved this book as you didn’t know who to trust especially the first half of the book. The art included in Confess was breathtaking and so beautiful and powerful. I think it is also worth mentioning how incredible and moving it is that all the confessions mentioned in this book were submitted by real people. With the art, confessions and plot combined, this is a clever, moving book.

Owen really won my heart and that last chapter?! My heart shattered all because it was so heartbreaking but so beautiful and touching all at the same time! I don’t think I connected completely with Auburn but I enjoyed her journey of becoming this strong, young woman and standing up for herself.

This was a fast paced book (which I love) but at times, it’s felt too fast paced, so I didn’t get the full experience of some scenes. I think this may be why I didn’t connect with Auburn as much as I wanted to (as well as one of her actions in particular despite my feelings about Trey).
