The Wolves of Winter by Tyrell Johnson

3.0

This started off really strong. I enjoyed Lyn’s POV, and seeing the past and the present through her eyes. I liked that she was spunky and thought her relationship with her Dad was sweet. I hoped the story would take off but towards the middle it became very predictable and felt like a story I had seen/read before.

Lyn could do no wrong and I felt some of the scenes involving her were irrational and hard to believe. I did like some of the action scenes, and the characters of Gerald and Jackson were interesting, but in the end I thought so much more could have been done with the story, specifically the reasoning/purpose behind Immunity’s goals.
