Prudence by Gail Carriger

4.0

I completely loved the Parasol Protectorate series, so of course I had to give the spin-off of their daughter a try. A mission in a dirigible to secure a new tea opportunity turns into much more of a political/diplomatic mission. Yes please. Plus, all of the humor of manners was back in full force. Prudence ("Rue"), Prim, Percy and Quesnel were truly hilarious together. I can't believe it took me so long to get to this book. It was very good. My only critique is that it did at times get a little too wordy. But very enjoyable and easy read. I will probably read the sequels when I have a chance.
