It makes me happy every time I read it that Ren doesn't even realise his hatred toward Kyoko waned after learning it was his brief childhood friend. He even gives her advice on how to stand out in the business. Kanae and Kyoko are BFFS!!!!! No matter how hard Kanae tries to fight it, she need Kyoko to heal her heart and be her best friend. I love their friendship development arc in this volume. Plus their expressions of girl friends even when neither of them have had one were so emotional.
