A Fistful of Dust by A.G. Carpenter

It's rare that a book these days becomes an immediate, stay-on-the-shelf favorite. Tashndelu is an excellent character, and she's not a perfect heroine.
The cover led me to pick this one. The book leaves a lot unexplained (think the weird V8 worshipping in Mad Max), it's just there, the world, the people, no need to explain what is. I loved it. Maybe there's more to tell about Tashndelu and her travels more will come to the page on the Sand people and the Company.
