Paperbacks from Hell: The Twisted History of '70s and '80s Horror Fiction by Grady Hendrix

5.0

It's been a while since I've enjoyed a book this much. I loved seeing all of the crazy covers and reading about the even more insane plots of some of these books. I'm leaving with a slew of titles I'm looking into reading in the future. Hell, I may even actually buy this book, and that's saying something.

There are discussions about books involving sexual assault and animal cruelty, but they're pretty brief and pretty scattered. I'm usually super sensitive to those things, but it didn't bother me very much here.
