You Had Me at Woof: How Dogs Taught Me the Secrets of Happiness, by Julie Klam
3.0
So, I saw this book come out over Christmas and, of course, fell in love with the cover and the concept (woman adopts Boston terrier, turns into a lifelong volunteer with a Boston Terrier rescue). How could it NOT be something I'd like?
But honestly, I really only liked it because of the Boston terrier connection. I enjoyed picturing the Bostons all through the book, and laughed at moments because I could see Lucy doing some of the things hers do. It was a super quick read, and could have used some strong editing. (Sorry, I hate being negative, but it's true.)
