Pain Killer: An Empire of Deceit and the Origin of America's Opioid Epidemic by Barry Meier
1st reading
I knew I needed to reread again in order to absorb the information properly, listened to the 7 hour audiobook with few expectations, and thought it would be more of tearjerker, personal testimony...a documentary in book format. But this was very professional journalism, a ton of facts and dates.
2nd and 3d reading physical book and ebook both borrowed from the library (thankyou parkland regional)
4th reading.
Phenomenal audiobook, also loved the netflix special.
