Learned a lot about growing up under apartheid (much worse than I thought and I thought it was awful) as a mixed-race child. Some stories are really funny; others simply heartbreaking. Trevor Noah is a remarkable young man to have overcome poverty/racism/etc to become one of the best known comedians in the world...but he was raised by a remarkable woman. This is really a son’s love story for the first woman he loved—his mother.
