La Septieme Croix by Anna Seghers, Françoise Toraille

4.5

An excellent piece of litterature and fiction. Even though I kinda knew what would be the (non) end, I couldn't help but be worried of the main character's outcome all along the book. The writing was really effective and I found highly original the way the thoughts of each character occured freely in the narrative, the story jumping from one character to the other, and jumping back and forth in just a few sentences. I found it really refreshing and effective.
