The emotional damage that was done to me in this book was astronomical. With how things left off in book 1, I knew things were going to be tense. But with all of that knowledge in the forefront, you also get more backstory and knowledge about BJ and Magnolia's past together, and BOY did that hurt. I was in tears multiple times throughout this book, but I still had hope that they would overcome it all. My heart was still rooting for them through everything, but once again--nothing is so simple. The ending of this book WRECKED MY SOUL. I don't think I will ever recover from the pain that it brought me.
Graphic: Infidelity, Panic attacks/disorders, and Toxic relationship
Moderate: Drug use, Miscarriage, Sexual content, Pregnancy, and Alcohol
Minor: Death and Toxic friendship
