How to Be Ace: A Memoir of Growing Up Asexual by Rebecca Burgess
challenging
informative
inspiring

fast-paced
5.0
Rebecca Burgess talks about her OCD, panic attacks, art school, asexuality, therapy, relationships, finding herself.
I’m asexual and this was soooo relatable. There is a lot of good conversation about how representation in media (movies, music, art, etc) revolve around romance and how damaging it is, not just to asexual and aromantic people but to everyone.
And now Good Omens has been pushed up to my watch list.
I loved that she mentioned her roleplay with a friend because I also roleplay and it’s so fun once you find a good roleplay partner lol
The art style wasn’t exactly my favorite but I throughly enjoyed everything else about it
