I LOVE ELIZABETH BENNET.
The quintessential heroine, direct, honest, and unwilling to take any shit from men who act out.
The way the characters develop over the course of the book is fantastic; I love seeing how they grow closer (or further apart, based on some dreadful behaviour). I love the balance between selfish fools and kind, intelligent characters - I feel that makes them feel more well-rounded.
Also, “You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you” is one of the most romantic lines in literature.
