House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

I really don’t even know what to say about this book. I felt every single emotion while reading and didn’t want it to end. This book was honestly so great and i am sad that I’ll have to wait for the next one for quite some time. I am glad that it didn’t end on a crazy cliffhanger (looking at you HOSAB), and we got to see a happy ending.

I actually loved Nesta in this book and thought that she was such a badass. Shadow Daddy Az really stepped it up and i cannot believe how much he talked in this book. I am alittle sad that we didn’t really get to see much of Feyre and the rest of the crew other than brief talks in the beginning but i think it would have been too much and would have taken away from the Crescent City world if we did. 10/10 for nesta and az tho.

Gosh i literally cannot believe the things that were revealed about Lidia and her ancestry. I am so excited to see what comes about from that and who’s line she came from. Ruhn and Lidia make me so happy and I’m so glad that their story turned out how it did.

Hunt and Bryce. Idk where to even start with them but i am here for it. I loved how they just thrive together. I can’t wait to see how their story plays out and how they achieve all they want for their futures and the future of the city.

Tharion just kept stressing me out with all his shit and the constant mistakes he kept making and putting everyone at risk whether knowingly or unknowingly. I am glad that he got a chance to fix most of them and cannot wait to see how his marriage plays out.

Ithan really stressed me out with everything he kept messing up and how he really tried to make things better but ending up making them extremely worse dispite his best efforts. In the end though i really was pleased with the way his future is playing out. He really deserves the place he’s currently in.

Also shoutout to Hypaxia for really saving the day countless times. She’s fantastic and i cannot wait to hopefully see more of her in the next book. I hope she has nothing but happiness because she truly deserves it.

I absolutely loved this book so much and despite the tears at certain points i couldn’t be happier to have read it. Overall i think it was an absolutely fantastic book and i highly highly recommend everyone to read this series. 1000/10
