I devoured this book in one sitting, it was so quick and engaging. The format is very interesting, each chapter is a POV of a different character, using 2nd person (but not talking to the reader, exactly). It's sort of like the characters communicating with each other through letter-type formats. Because each character tells the plot in their own way, there is a good bit of repetition. However, each perspective adds something new, making it not so bad. By the fourth retelling you're kind of like "okay, we get it", but that's really the book's only downfall, and it's not too terrible. This book provided a really interesting look into revenge, murder, and all of those influences on young and adult minds. If you want a tense, quick, gripping story, this is a good one. I recommend!
Graphic: Child death and Murder
Moderate: Terminal illness
Minor: Drug use and Suicide
