This. was. amazing!!
I’ve been hearing about S. J. Maas pretty much everywhere and despite the fact that it took me quite a while to actually pick one of her books up, I can now say that I 100% understand where people are coming from.
The writing of this book was really good and while reading, it felt like as if one was simply sliding through the story. A story that was exciting at all times on top of that. Literally.
I don’t remember a time where I thought of the book as boring or I didn’t wanna continue reading.
I’m excited to see where this series is going (even though i’m almost 10 years late, but hey! it’s never too late to read a good book/start a series, right?)
There were a few things/aspects that kind of made me wanna rate this 4.5 stars rather than 5 but.. as for now, I am gonna rate this 5 stars, which could change as I go on with the others but- this was a great start, really.
I’m looking forward to read the next one!
