My favourite light fantasy heroes make a more or less triumphant return. I read this book in almost one go- that almost never happens. It's an easy read, lots of action, lots of feelings, the return of a character from Seregil's past that made me want to tear my hair out in frustration and the introduction of a new one. Best one of this series yet.
