This book in the series touched me most especially with the pet story. It gave me sort of a closure myself since I also lost a beloved cat.

I love that Fumiko becomes a recurring character and relieved Kohtake is still around taking care of Mr Fusagi. I wish at some point, we follow Miki’s story in Funiculi Funicula while Kazu and Nagare were away in Hokkaido.
