Gripping, brutal, so deeply heartbreaking. A story from WWII that at least in the USA education system often went overlooked. I had barely heard anything about the Baltic experience during World War II and this was an incredibly graphic peek inside. Educational, supremely well-written, and the illustrations pair perfectly with the disturbing subject matter.
