4.5

This is the first time I’ve read a book in this style writing - oral history in an interview recounting the actual story - with each member of the band having their own version of the story.
This was also my first Taylor Jenkins Reid book, and with all the hype that surrounds her books I can now understand why.
Spoiler
This book was riveting, I was enthralled with each characters story - the tension and will they won’t they of the romance between Daisy and Billy was almost hard to read at some moments it felt so real.
This didn’t give me that five star feeling I get when a book blows me away but that doesn’t mean this book wasn’t phenomenal in its own way.
Will definitely be picking up more TJR books and can’t wait to do so.
Still highly recommend this book!
