Talia Hibbert writes my perfect romances. I've loved everything I've ever read from her, and Wanna Bet? was no different. I loved Jasmine and Rahul's love story (even though I don't really like friends to lovers as a trope, usually. But of course, Talia could make me love just about any romance trope). I felt like the story had the right amount of angst, and realistic complications (although I wasn't a huge fan of the third act breakup in this story, it felt a bit silly to me tbh). I also love Talia's consistent focus on people working on themselves and not using love as a "fix" for all of her characters' personal problems. Overall, this was a sweet, emotional read and I enjoyed it very much.
