Pole Dance by J.A. Hornbuckle

4.0

Caitlin Tomas is at her wits end, trying to honor her parents wishes by getting thru college in four years. However, after her parents death she is struggling with four jobs and juggling college in order to keep her grades high enough for her scholarship. Hearing her lab partner in biology gossiping about the money she is earning pole dancing, Caitlin decides to see if she can get a job their too.

Co-Owner of Fuego's, Jake Stanton knows an innocent when he sees it, and Caitlin is pure innocence. Knowing he is not going to hire her, he is surprised of her tenacity at trying to get the job, however Caitlin surprises him again with her honesty and then deciding the job is not for her.

Jake wants to know more about Caitlin and see if everything she claims is the truth. Jake finds he can't stay away from Caitlin and has a plan to make her his own. He doesn't plan on Caitlin's need to make her own decisions and adverse reactions to help. He is hooked to Caitlin and plans to never let her go, but there is a dangerous person who is killing women attached to Fuego and has their sites on Caitlin.

This was completely different than I expected. Loved Caitlin, she is adorable and at the same time a force to be reckoned with. Jake was alpha male and I wanted more. I would have given a 5 star but there was one part of the story that I felt like was not resolved completely so now I wonder. Highly entertaining read.
