Reap The Harvest by Margaret Dickinson

emotional hopeful reflective sad medium-paced

5.0

Read in less than half a day, needless to say, I loved it. This is the third and final book of the Fleethaven Point series (I read the second, Sow the Seed, last year, but still haven’t read the first. They can be read as standalones).

In 1953, Ella travels to her grandparents’ farm for her great-grandfather’s funeral, a place she’s never been with people she’s hardly met. Then the east coast floods and she’s forced to move from her familiar life in Lincoln to the farm. As she grows, Ella becomes more aware of the secrets her mother and grandmother had been carrying for years.

This was such a good read! It was lovely seeing familiar characters and meet some new ones. It’s been a while since I read the previous book so it was a refresher as Ella found out the family history. I just wish there was a bit more to the epilogue.
