Dead Blondes and Bad Mothers: Monstrosity, Patriarchy, and the Fear of Female Power by Jude Ellison S. Doyle

challenging dark emotional funny informative fast-paced

5.0

I know the patriarchy is everywhere, fucking up everything but I didn't see how the patriarchy is everywhere. This book is interesting. I can't disagree with her arguments. She focuses on media -movies/book - but also current events and news stories/history (serial killers).

After reading this book I realize that in the ending of Game of Thrones the TV show,
Danni could never live because she's a danger to the patriarchy. Jon is the patriarchy's victory over another woman who tried to change the world.
