I would’ve enjoyed this book more if I was 16 and exclusively read YA contemporary romance. But reading it now, it was definitely sort of cringey. I listened to this as an audiobook so thankfully I was doing others things too while I was reading. This book felt so slow and there was very little action in the middle. The main female character is really whiny and bothered me. The other was a bad example of “disability porn” meaning be mostly just served as a person with a disability to be an inspiration for the main female character. Yuck!!
But at the same time their romance is really cute and light and I want more WesTess content, so it’s really just a big bag of complicated feelings on this one for me.
