Sex, Lies, and Online Dating by Rachel Gibson

Lucy Rothschild is a successful thriller author trying to research her next novel by online dating.
As she meets with a certain kind of men, she suddenly meets Quinn- a seemingly normal man compared to all the others. She really likes him however she's currently lying to him about her occupation and why she's online dating.
Quinn is also lying to Lucy.
He's actually an undercover cop looking for a serial killer and Lucy is their most likely suspect.
As they get closer, they began doubting their lies and wondering whenever or not they should come clean.
-----------
DNFed this 70% through because I started seriously disliking Quinn and their relationship dynamic.
This was obviously written in the early 2000s and it had a lot of tropes from that era of romance novels.
Just not for me.
