Looking for Alaska, by John Green

2.0

Honestly, this book, to me, was a bit disappointing. It mostly felt like filler of sorts, and because I'd already started, I at least wanted to finish. Though there were definitely some memorable lines, and although I really liked the "last words" concept of the book, other than the very end, I did not love this read.

The pacing of the book felt off, I never truly felt attached to any character, and the only parts I truly felt inclined to read were around the middle (around and after the time of Alaska's death) and the end (simply because it grew in introspection and I enjoyed that). However, I expected greater.
