The premise of this is fun, but parts of it feel really outdated and misogynist, in my opinion. The hero protecting the heroine's virginity, her becoming sexual because of a god's intervention rather than by choice, the idea of a woman being fully woman because she's had sex - it all just left a bad taste in my mouth, especially since the book is clearly trying to create a feminist heroine.
