The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden

Did not finish book.

I really wanted to like this (the descriptive writing for one thing was absolutely beautiful), but it was simply too slow. I felt like I was wasting my life away trying to get to the part where the story starts, and that's a bummer. I know a lot of people who really loved this, it just wasn't for me.
