I really liked this but for totally different reasons than I expected. I thought it was gonna be massively unhinged and the hurt Lucy inflicted on Jake would be really dark and twisted, but it wasn’t as horrific as I was expecting.

What I did like was the points on motherhood. As a mother myself I felt like I could relate or at least sympathise with a lot of what she was thinking. I just felt for the MC.

SpoilerNo one was on her side, no one cared about her. Not her cheating husband, not her so called friends who gossiped about her in her own home, not the husband of the woman Jake cheated with, no one. Felt very real - how it always seems to be the woman’s fault.
