I wanted to love this book but I never fully got into it.
It didn't quite feel foodie enough for a MasterChef style reality show romance and I didn't find the behind the scenes aspects believable. There is no way they'd just keep their personal mobiles/access to their social media.
SpoilerThey definitely wouldn't just be sent home straight after being kicked off while the show is airing in such a way that they could easily be photographed etc.

I liked Delilah and London fine. I haven't read many books with NB protagonists/perspectives, especially not outside of YA. London is a functioning adult that doesn't question their identity. This will mean a lot to a lot of people.

I just wanted to get more of the competition based drama, more actual descriptions of cooking and foods, head to heads and heads and elimination challenges.
Spoiler It really bugged me when their team was up for elimination but then there is just a skip of a number of days with no tension.
