Barbie as Rapunzel by Cliff Ruby, Elana Lasser, Robert Sauber

5.0

... don't @ me. I love Barbie movies so much, and I love books. Did you really think my love of this would be anything less?

The most stand out part of this story for me was the artwork. Each painting was so detailed and lovely and whimsical. Very in line with Barbie and with the happy-Disneyfied-for kids version of the Rapunzel story.

The plot didn't always make sense, like the fact that all of a sudden, Rapunzel was an artist? But the additions of animal friends and Gothel's motivations and the spell at the end... love it. I really want to rewatch the movie now.

... I might go do that.
