It isn't a nice story, but it is an important one. I think it's important that everyone reads a story like this, to understand people and their reactions better. Maybe it could help prevent similar situations.
That being said, there were also a lot of things I didn't enjoy. There were some very unrealistic dialogues and scenes. Some actions of the protagonist were very childlike, like those "yn" Watpad stories. Most character were very flat (no personality), especially in the beginning. I almost put the book away halfway trough.
