The Vagina Monologues by Gloria Steinem, Eve Ensler

5.0

A wise person: A book cannot be overtly funny, poignant, informative, reality-shattering, and good at the same time.

The Vagina Monologues: Yes it can. I am.

I've never felt so ripped apart and happy to be that way after reading a non-fiction book. But to call this non-fiction is not enough, in my opinion. I should be called a real-world book. It sounds a bit like a twist on an old platitude, but that's what this book. A real-life account of the thoughts running in woman's heads about their vaginas.
