I have beef with this book. This is not the Aaron Warner from the first few books. I think when they were doing all that mind control stuff, they accidentally put some sorry a**hole into his body. And it’s really crappy to have the last image of the main character as being so perfect that she’s “above” everyone else and everything and essentially too good for the planet. I’m only rating this so low because so many other people have given it awesome ratings and I know it won’t hurt the book’s overall rating at all, but I am in like rage mode right now. The beginning of the series was too good for this to be the end of the character’s journeys.
