I was expecting more from this book! It started out so strong and I loved the writing style with emails and memos etc however I couldn’t find anything endearing about Bernadette! The longer the book went on the less I liked her, or really anyone for that matter.
It felt like the last third of the book was a completely different book. There were plots that just fizzled (Audrey? Her son? Where did the letter disappear to? The fbi and the Russian mafia? Soo-Lin?) and the author wrapped up the book with a letter from Bernadette to Bee that felt sloppy to me.
There were many times when I did laugh at moments in the book but there were many more upsetting times where I didn’t really want to keep reading
