Yield Under Great Persuasion by Alexandra Rowland

  • Flaws of characters a main focus? Yes

5.0

Read this over the course of a workday and cried on and off the whole time which is probably partially the waking up at 3:30 of it all but fuck. Rowland is really good at writing disaster mc + perfect love interest and then absolutely digging the hell in and going hey what made them this way? What's wrong with being perfect and what's good about being nasty? Why do they like each other? What needs to change for their relationship to work? And it's funny and irreverent and hot the whole time in addition to being heart piercing

Also this is Harry du Bois and Kim Kitsuragi to me a little and I'm not elaborating on that
